Hello! As all the dramas are getting released these days (Chronciles of Life, Fox Legend, Xiao Shi Yi Lang, Princess Jieyou, Imperial Doctress, etc), the release of stills and casting news were especially low. A slow start to this new year 😉 Ice Fantasy released a first teaser, Kris is casted in yet another high budget project and dramas/movies are releasing some new stills. But before everything, let’s send our prayers to the people in Taiwan.
First of all, all prayers for the habitants of Hualian and Tainan in Taiwan. Stay strong! Hope the situation calms down and the death count can stop. A 6.4 magnitude earthquake attacked Tainan this Saturday and about 100 people died (depending on the report as another source says about 38 people died…).
A bit late, but AVirtualVoyage compiled a nice list of performances of this Year’s Chinese New Year Festival with youtube links. A nice way to pick watch your faves’ performances 😉 I want to recommend the performances of Yang Yang and Hu Ge 😉 Zhao Liying‘s performance wasn’t too bad although it was quiet obvious singing a duet by herself isn’t such a great idea. I would rather have her performing with Shifu Wallace Huo or her participating in the little sketch with the rest of the Hua Qian Gu cast. Sigh.
Who is having the time of his life? Kris Wu Yifan! He was announced to be a supporting cast for upcoming Vin Diesel movie xXx: the Return of Xander. It must be every little boy’s dream to be part of such a huge action movie so congradulations to him!
Drama Xiao Shi Yi Lang which will be released today starring Yan Yikuan and Zhu Yilong:
The Elders of Zhu Xian (or should we call them Power Ranger rainbow edition?) took tone of BTS pictures together. Well well well, I am sure they will play a similar role as in any xianxia dramas, making our OTP’s love impossible. Now with seven of them, it will be even a bigger obstacle than in Hua Qian Gu.

I am so excited for Les Interpretes! Love both lead actors. Also, almost finished reading the novel that I believe the drama is loosely based off 🙂 It’s been an enjoying read so far

I must have been impressed buy Ice Fantasy trailer but it is so “game of thrones” that I don’t know. Even I remember how boring novel was, I still hope to find some catchy side of this project.

At this rate I would be glade if Ice Fantasy would been movie instead of drama. Vic is the only reason why I going to watch it. If not Qian I wouldn’t pay attention on it.

@alt, he was spotted walking hand in hand with young actress Lin Yun (currently starring in Mermaid). She is sixteen years younger than him and look slightly like Ni Ni, so there are discussions about this “scandal” online :”D I am not sure if he confirmed yet, but yeah ^^

Haha…even though I can be considered an avid fan of Li Yifeng, I have to admit that he’s not the most consistent actor in the world. For some dramas, he’s really good (in a lot of his old dramas, his acting were amazing even though some of the drama plots suck). Then, in “The Lost Tomb” and “Forever Young”, he was basically the male version of Tiffany Tang’s famous Mary-sue acting. In “Mr. Six”, he was okay again. I think it definitely wouldn’t hurt to give Sparrow a try though, especially since the rest of his co-stars are solid actors.
