Hi to our beloved visitors/followers. We are a team of two online writers and drama devotees

archidisign: Hi! I am always following what is happening in the Chinese Entertainment industry, especially when it comes to dramas. On this blog, I will write reviews for my favorite Chinese dramas, some recaps (although not too many because I recently reaized just how much it is a pain to write), and update you on the newest events happening in C-entertainment. I will also update you sometime on what is happening in the kpop industry and maybe even on the Western side. Just a warning, I am gonna write a lot about Zhao Liying, Ady An and Yang Rong (my girl crushes :3 ) and Chen Xiao (my hubby).

intellectualkitten: Hi guys! I love c-industry and I am really pumped to write regularly about c-news for you guys. Most of the time, I just watch variety shows (such as Noona over Flowers, Run Brothers and For Her) and movies (Tiny Times, Those Years). For some reasons, I don’t have as much patience as ArchiDisign when it comes to dramas but I irregularly does some marathon :). Another thing I love is old Chinese music and fashion photoshoots. So yeah, you will mostly see me post about variety shows and fashion ps 🙂

  1. I nominated this blog for the Liebster Award. It would be great to see your responses if you choose to participate. https://kdramawannabe.wordpress.com
I really appreciate the hard work you all do on this blog. There aren’t many blogs dedicated to Chinese dramas or entertainment for that fact. This definitely helps someone like me who has no idea where to start in watching Cdramas. I have only watched one so I am wanting to expanding my drama list. Thanks:)

Wow! This is so nice of you. 😀 Thanks so much, we will definitely participate in the Liebster Award.
It is true that there aren’t a lot of blogs about C-drama/ent/music (snif snif), but there is definitely anough to help English speakers to keep up with waht is happening in China right now! Keep reading the posts and maybe you will find a drama worth watching soon 😉

  2. Yay! Another blog about c-dramas/entertainment! We don’t do entertainment, but lots of recaps/reviews hehehe. Good to have a friend (or two) in the same field 😀

We are two! 8D That’s awesome! We wanted to go for the reviews/recaps, but covering the entertainment news was just too tempting! 😛 It is great to discover you!

Hello! I am Jasmine, writing from Viki.com – a global TV site where millions of people discover, watch and subtitle global primetime shows and movies in more than 200 languages. No worries if you don’t know us, I’ll be glad to explain more!

I came across your blog online and saw that you’ve been writing a lot of reviews on Chinese content and chinese actor related news!
As Viki also has a huge range of Chinese content available, I’d love to talk more in depth about a partnership between us.
If you’re interested please do drop me an email at jasmine@viki.com?

    Thanks so much! 🙂

Thanks Jasmine, that is so nice! We are starting to write less since school just started, but I will definitely write you an email 🙂

  4. Despite this technically being an amateur blog, I think it’s excellent and seriously well written. I love how thorough and devoted you guys are! Also I’ve looked at loads of reviews and also found new shows I really want to watch from this site.
Thanks so much for all the hard work, you have a very appreciative reader here (and I am an English teacher who lives in China, I cant get enough of good Chinese shows, so your input is awesome.)

    • Haha thanks a lot! We take our “amateur blog” very seriously ^3^ Thanks. We love to share our thoughts through review/recaps and have discussion with the nice commenters. Haha, awesome! glad to help you out 😉 and since you are in China, you can recommend us what are the popular shows to review/talk about! I mostly use weibo/sina as a source, but I know it can become bias. So your input is always appreciated!
Haha, if you are an English teacher, then I should say sorry for all the typos/grammar mistakes we are making 😛
Thanks again for the encouragement and hope you are enjoying life in China!

  5. Hi archidisign and intellectualkitten ~ I also work at Viki and see Jasmine reached out before, but I’d love to start the conversation again. I just discovered this blog and it’s great 🙂 Could we get in touch to discuss a potential partnership? Let me know, thanks!

    • Hi Dee! Thanks a lot for your interest in our humble blog :3 Right now, we are in the process of moving from midterm to finals and both of us are really busy >_< Of course, a partnership with Viki is always welcome, especially if it does not necessitate too much work. hehe
We don't have an official email for the blog, but you can either comment here or leave us an email to reach you. ^^
