There are so many busy boys in Chinese entertainment right now. One of them is undeniably Li Yifeng. After starring in Lost Tomb and Forever Young, he is back with another project called Sparrow. It is a republican drama and I am sure everyone’s already excited to know who the female lead is. Hope they will announce her soon!

This drama is set during the revolutionary time in Shanghai, based on a novel of the same name of Hai Fei. During the republican revolution, Chen Shen is a secret agent under Special Operations Executive Director Bi Zhongliang, among the agents called “sparrow” (similar to the program “zero” in Japan).

It has a lot of intense moments and few dialogues, so I am not sure yet if I want to watch it. However, Li Yifeng looks awesome in this era’s costume!
